A downloadable game for Windows

This project was for Lame Jam 32, which lasted 72 hours, and had the theme "Rats".

Movement:
WASD to move
Space to jump

This is my first attempt at developing a game in Unreal Engine.
TorDev introduced me to the engine, helped me with importing assets and setting up colliders, using the decal rendering feature, and guided me around the blueprint block coding concept, as well as showing me a few examples of how to do NPC coding.

My goal for this project was to develop intelligent NPCs. Typically, NPCs quickly "forget" the player after spotting them. This approach involved a more dynamic behavior: When an NPC sees the player from any distance, it will run to the last location where the player was spotted. If the NPC can still see the player from that new position, it will continue the chase. If the NPC loses sight of the player, it will search the surrounding area before returning to its patrol route.
Additionally, if an NPC sees another NPC chasing the player, it will join the pursuit. When the original chasing NPC loses sight of the player, the accompanying NPCs, that have not seen the player, will also search the surrounding area, but will return to their own patrol routes quicker than the NPC that actually spotted the player.
